TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST
Engineered Manufacturing Solutions, Inc (EMS) is an Austin based, privately owned, software and service company dedicated to providing our customers the very best in customer service. We currently have several positions open for Technical Support Specialist to support our customers using our software products and support many of our customers currently using the Optimation dynamic nesting software. Candidates with 5+ years manufacturing experience, especially as users of nesting software (including Optimation, Sigmanest, Pronest, or other) are preferred. There is a strong possibility of telecommuting
without the necessity of moving to Austin, Texas.
SKILLS DESIRED:
Must have experience with UNIX and Windows based software applications
Solid knowledge of CNC (flame, plasma, laser, punch, router.) machines
Some familiarity with computer hardware
Networking & TCP/IP fundamentals a plus
Must have good communication skills
Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, and organizational skills
Ability to communicate complex issues in a simple and straightforward manner
Strong desire to learn
PRIMARY TASKS WILL INCLUDE:
Assisting customers via phone, email and GoToMyPC with any software issues
Build and manage a support FAQ for our website
Manage software library
Assist IT with internal hardware and software deployment

SOFTWARE APPLICATION ENGINEER
EMS is currently looking for highly qualified and motivated Application Engineers to work in our Post-Processor Applications Department in our Austin, Texas headquarters. Candidates with 5+ years manufacturing experience, especially as users of nesting software (including Optimation, Sigmanest, Pronest, or other) are preferred. There is a strong possibility of telecommuting without the necessity of moving to Austin, TX.
The right persons will have experience in the industrial manufacturing industry including heavy and light equipment as well as shipbuilding and aerospace industries. Solid knowledge of CNC machines (flame, plasma, laser, punch, router.) is a plus.

LEAN MANUFACTURING CONSULTANT
Engineered Manufacturing Solutions (EMS) is currently looking for highly qualified and motivated Manufacturing Engineers to work in our Lean Manufacturing Department in our Austin, Texas headquarters. Job duties will include travel to customer sites to evaluate their manufacturing processes and working closely with our Product Development Department to ensure our software is always ahead of the curve in Lean Manufacturing.
The right persons will have experience in the industrial manufacturing industry including heavy and light equipment as well as shipbuilding and aerospace industries. Solid knowledge of CNC machines (flame, plasma, laser, punch, router.) is a plus.

SOFTWARE SALES EXECUTIVES
Engineered Manufacturing Solutions (EMS) is currently looking for highly qualified and motivated Sales Executives to work in our National and International Sales Department in our Austin, Texas headquarters. Job duties will include travel to customer sites to present sales demos of our product and evaluate the customers manufacturing processes to determine which of our many products will best suit the customer.s needs. You will work closely with senior management and our Product Development Department to ensure our products include the features and functions that the customer wants and needs to get the job done.
The right person will have experience in sales in the industrial manufacturing industry including heavy and light equipment as well as shipbuilding and aerospace. However if you have been successful in sales for many years with a proven (verifiable) track record and have not worked in any of these industries please apply anyway. With company provided training a good successful salesman can learn to sell and support software customers in these industries.
